Product Description - Jetson Nano 4GB Developer Kit SUB The Jetson Nano 4GB Developer Kit SUB is an excellent alternative to the B01 Official Demo. It features the official Jetson Nano 4GB core module and comes with 16GB eMMC storage. This allows for easy and quick startup of the board without the need for a TF card. The module's performance, carrier board resources, size, and interface layout are all consistent with the B01 Official Demo, making it a stable and reliable option.

One important thing to note is that the operating system has already been written to the 16GB eMMC of all motherboards in the product. However, due to the storage space being occupied by the operating system, users cannot install additional software packages or Jetpack plugins directly. If additional memory expansion is required, a U disk must be used and a tedious process of rewriting the boot file to guide the Jetson NANO motherboard to boot the system from the U disk is necessary.

Furthermore, the power supply mode of the DEV-KIT-SUB version is the same as that of the B01 version. The micro USB interface of Jetson Nano only supports 2A current, therefore, a DC power supply is recommended for most usage scenarios.

Developers, learners and makers can run AI frameworks and models for applications like image classification, object detection, and segmentation. This developer kit can be powered by micro-USB and comes with extensive I/Os. Jetson Nano is also supported by JetPack, which includes a board support package (BSP), Linux OS, NVIDIA CUDA, cuDNN, and TensorRT software libraries for deep learning, computer vision, GPU computing, multimedia processing, and much more. The software is even available using an easy-to-flash SD card image, making it fast and easy to get started.

It's important to note that the SUB does not have an SD card slot and expansion of memory can only be achieved via a U disk. Additionally, certain pins of the Jetson NANO 4GB SUB are not set to SPI mode like those of the B01 of NVIDIA.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the Jetson Nano 4GB SUB login username is "jetson" and the password is "yahboom". Yahboom Jetson Nano SUB only modified the login username and password based on the official operating system and did not burn any jetpack software packages into the development board. To use these software packages, users need to download and install them themselves. If users prefer not to use the username and password provided by Yahboom, they have the option to rewrite the official operating system by themselves.
